Clif after crossing the Canadian River115 viewsIn the background is a very long bridge over the Canadian River. This bridge has 72 spans. We rode along the original Route 66 on this day's trip between Hinton and Kingfisher on 6/12. A nice tailwind pushed us along for a fast ride.

500 miles later, we finished!143 viewsThis picture is at the finish line in Coffeyville KS. Representing the Flyers are John Van Meter and Clif Breyel. Also in the picture are Susan and David from Waco. We rode with them to the Texas border on the first day and again on the last day of the Freewheel.

John crossing southern Oklahoma95 viewsThe sun was shining brightly this morning but there were several days of wet weather on the Freewheel....but not enough to dampen spirits.

Texas to Kansas88 viewsAfter setting up camp in Comanche OK, CLif and John rode 25 miles to the Texas border on 6/9/07. The weather was hot, hot & hu-mid!

Tent City89 viewsWe camped on the host town's high school athletic in tent cities. The picture doesn't give a true feel for how many campers there actually were. The first riders to the next town got spots inside the high school gym, with AC. As Clif said, it was like the Oklahoma Land Rush every day.
